What the watermark is, and what PRO removes

A free export is 1280 pixels on the long side with a small Dual Recorder mark in a bottom corner. It is a real, shareable video: post it, send it, keep it. PRO exports at the size you recorded, with no mark at all or with your own handle or logo in its place. The editor shows the watermark on the preview before you export, so nothing is a surprise in Photos.

What else PRO adds

Director: the camera whose person is talking fills the frame, cut live while you record. Trying it on the preview is free; recording with it is PRO.
Every platform: 9:16, 16:9 and 1:1 versions of one take in one tap, shown before they are written.
Your mark: your handle or logo on every export instead of ours.
Music: a song from Files under your voice, fading out at the end.
Script it: a teleprompter script drafted on the device by Apple Intelligence, on iPhones that have it.
Looks and setups: all nine looks (Natural, Vivid and Warm are free) and as many saved setups as you like (one is free).

Where the offer appears

Once after your first take, once more on a later launch after a free export, from the PRO row in the export chooser and the library, from a PRO tool or look when you tap it, and from Settings. Never during onboarding and never at launch. Subscribers see Manage subscription instead, which opens Apple’s subscription management.

Cancelling, restoring, refunds

Cancel or change: Settings on the iPhone, your name, Subscriptions. A cancelled plan keeps working until the end of the paid period.
New phone: Settings in the app, Restore purchases. The subscription follows your Apple ID.
Refunds: handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com, as with every App Store subscription.

If the store cannot be reached

If Apple’s store or the subscription service is unreachable, the app does not lock you out of your own files: exports stay open until the store answers again. A paywall that cannot sell is hidden rather than shown broken.

Is there a free trial?

The free app is a full trial: record, edit and export in HD with a small watermark without paying. If Apple lists an introductory offer for your account, the app shows it before you subscribe. Unused free-trial time is forfeited when you subscribe.

Do I lose my takes if I stop subscribing?

No. Takes and photos stay in the app’s library. Videos you already saved to Photos are yours; new exports are free in HD with the small watermark again.

Is it one purchase for all my devices?

The subscription is tied to your Apple ID, so it works on any iPhone signed in with it after Restore purchases. Dual Recorder is an iPhone app.
