The timecode capsule shows minutes left once the take has under fifteen minutes of room. A take refuses to start without a safe margin per video, and if storage runs out it ends cleanly, saved up to that point.

Yes. All files of a take start on the same camera frame, share the same shape and size, and carry the same microphone track, so they align in any editor without syncing.

A floating window you can drag, resize and reshape into a rectangle, circle, square or star; over / under and side by side splits; and a diagonal seam. All four can be changed mid-take. See layouts.

If the take saved its clean per-camera videos (Separate or Both), the editor’s Layout tool rebuilds the combined video in any arrangement. A Combined-only take cannot be rearranged.

9:16, 16:9, 1:1 and the full 4:3 sensor, chosen before the take; a bright band on the preview shows what the file keeps. The editor can crop a different shape afterwards. See video shape.

Takes are recorded as QuickTime movies written in short fragments, so a take interrupted by a crash or a dead battery still plays up to its last seconds. Exports from the editor are MP4 or MOV, whichever Settings says.
